MyOwnRadar Versions

MyOwnRadar Java Interactive
Flagship product of StormQuest Technologies. Utilizes a Java applet to display a wide variety of radar images and value-added products on top of topographic background maps where users can toggle on and off geographic information such as cities, county names, landmarks, interstates and major highways and their labels. Applet also allows for on-the-fly zooming and panning of the radar map as well as stepping through the radar animation one frame at a time (forward or backward) or in a continuous loop.

MyOwnRadar Non-Java Interactive
Offers a different format for interactivity with the radar images. Composed of a single still image or an animated sequence of images with "hot spots." These "hot spots" are clickable and will bring up a zoomed view of the region that is clicked without the use of a Java applet or any similar browser plugin.

MyOwnRadar Stand-Alone Still Imagery
Display of the latest radar image available along with any desired overlays such as storm attributes or severe weather warnings.

MyOwnRadar Stand-Alone Animated Imagery
Display of the last hour's worth of radar images in a continuous loop along with any desired overlays such as storm attributes or severe weather warnings.

MyOwnRadar Mobile
Similar to the Stand-Alone Still and Animated Imagery except maps are customized for use in mobile phone applications.
